Wheel of Wellbeing
Wheel of Wellbeing
We share regularly with our pupils, activities which promote positive mental health and wellbeing. We often refer during assemblies and class-based activities to the Wheel of Wellbeing.
The Wheel of Wellbeing is a model devised to find balance in the 6 most prominent areas of an individual’s life. Although there is no ‘one size fits all’ model. At Minster-in-Sheppey Primary School, constantly reinforce with our pupils the importance of being in charge, taking responsibility for and making time for their own mental health and wellbeing.
The Wheel of Wellbeing can be broken down into Six Ways to Wellbeing that focus on Body, Mind, Spirit, People, Place, and Planet.
Body: be active!
Mind: keep learning!
Spirit: give!
People: connect!
Place: take notice
Planet: care for the planet!
