Science Week 2024 - A visit from a Scientist who helped us explore floating & sinking.

Mandy who is a scientist visited our school. We made boats and tested whether or not they would float. What an amazing boat! I'm very proud of my boat! Wow! It's floating! "I think is it will float"

Science Week 2024 - We investigated what would happen to a Gingerbread Man if he was put into different liquids.

We placed the Gingerbread man into milk and he absorbed the milk making him very soft. We placed the Gingerbread man into oil. He was wet but still hard. We placed the Gingerbread man into vinegar and he went soft and soggy! We placed the Gingerbread man into water and he went soft and soggy! We then investigated the best materials to keep him dry We then investigated the best materials to keep him dry We then investigated the best materials to keep him dry Wrapping him in tin foil. We timed him wrapped in the materials for 1 minute.
