Year 1

GRUFFALO FOREST SCHOOL

In year 1 our Forest school time is focused around the story of the Gruffalo!

We focus on the following things:

• Identifying trees in the forest using leaf identification sheets.
• Creating faces for the trees with clay.
• Using natural  materials that we have found to create a picture.
• Using our steps to measure how tall trees are.
• What seeds grow into what trees.
• Investigating different habitats.
