Welcome back Robins!

We are looking forward to seeing you for a fun term!

Week Beginning 27th March 2017

Don't forget parent/teacher liaison meetings are this week on Tuesday 28th March and Thursday 30th March. Please check with the class teachers if you are unsure of your appointment time.

Wednesday 29th March is our Easter Bonnet Parade which will begin at approximately 9.05am and will last for about 15 minutes. Please stay after you have dropped your children at school so that you can see the amazing creations.

We are all looking forward to a busy but fun week!

Easter Bonnet Parade

Parents/Teacher Liaisons will be on Tuesday 28th March and Thursday 30th March. These will take place during the school day so that you have the opportunity to see the children involved in class activities as well as meeting with the class teachers.

A sign up sheet will be outside the classroom for you to choose a time that suits you.

We look forward to meeting with you.

Forest School

If your child has waterproof clothing it may be a good idea to send it in with them so that they can enjoy the forest activities without getting too wet.

Thank you for your continued support.

Having trouble finding a Book Day costume?

Aldi are advertising some in their brochure for £4.99. They will be in store from Sunday 26th February.  These include a Goldilocks costume and a Little Red Riding Hood one.

February Half Term

Have a lovely holiday Robins and we look forward to looking through your Love to Learn books and talking to you about what you have been up to.

We will see you back at school on Monday 20th February.

Don't forget your PE kits (shorts, t-shirt and plimsolls) ready for Boogie Tots.

Have a fun week!

Thursday 9th February is non-uniform for all Foundation Stage children.

Please remember that we spend a lot of time outside so clothing needs to be warm and suitable for outside play.

Week Beginning 06.02.17

Maths ~ This week we are looking at adding two single digit numbers together. We will be encouraging the children to make marks or draw pictures to help them solve different number problems.

Literacy ~ The children have been actively retelling the story of the Three Little Pigs and this week they will be encouraged to record the order of the story in a storyboard (in pictures) and to add key words or simple captions.

Topic ~ We have already had some amazing looking houses into class and the Big Bad Dryer is feeling slightly nervous! He will be very disappointed if he doesn't blow down a house and eat at least one little pig!

Phonics ~ We are recapping all sounds we have learnt and using these to read and write CVC words.
